This lovely black and white spaniel, Viola, needs to find a loving owner fast. She’s a darling pup of only about six months old, but she’s a “people dog,” not a “dog’s dog.” Consequently she would be so much happier living with an appreciative owner, rather than in a pen at the Bonaire Animal Shelter with other more rambunctious dogs. She’s more of a lady.
Her previous owner, who had to leave the island to go back to the Dominican Republic, obviously treated her well and cared for her, as she looks beautifully groomed. Of course, Viola is in perfect health and has been examined by the vet.
The adoption fee includes all that, plus sterilization and even an identity chip so that she can be identified even if she islost. You may meet Viola at the Shelter on the Lagoen Road, open Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 1 pm and 3 to 5 pm. Tel. 717-4989.
